Elizabeth Lake Sailing Club

Welcome to the Elizabeth Lake Sailing Club. We are District 47 Snipe Sailing Fleet. Our Group was formed to promote sailing and racing on Snipe Sailboats.

We offer the best of both worlds. We are a club which makes local sailing affordable but we travel to various Yacht clubs to meet up and race with other Snipe sailors.

The Snipe Sailboat Class supports champions, beginners, and juniors (under 21), women, masters (over 45) and mixed teams.

The Snipe is a two person dinghy that brings the well-balanced class motto “serious sailing, serious fun.”

With a range of ages and abilities, the racing is competitive and fun with social opportunities for every generation.

The snipe will help prepare you for sailing on larger boats on St. Clair as well.

We can provide access to Snipe sailboats and training on how to sail and/or improving your sailing skills.
