If you’d like to learn more about society and take part in meaningful discussions on topics that impact all of us - come join us at Miss Understood; a women-only discussion & study club. At a time when social media outlets are rife with misinformation and skewed ideas - or aim to divide us - now is the time to step back from our screens and have face-to-face conversations. Our sessions aim for women of all ages and backgrounds (LGBTQ+ inclusive) to educates ourselves about important issues, gain confidence in speaking and foster a collective mindset through unified learning.
Our voices matter; everyone is welcome to share their thoughts, experiences, and ideas for solutions. There is strength in the diversity of our experiences, backgrounds and beliefs. Come exchange perspectives, challenge your own views, and gain a deeper understanding of our world.
Why come to our sessions?:
- Engage in Open Dialogue: Dive into discussions that matter with peers who care.
- Develop Communication Skills: Practice public speaking and learn how to express your ideas with clarity and confidence.
- Safe and Inclusive Space: Share your thoughts in a respectful, supportive environment where your voice is valued.
- Collective Learning: By exchanging our varied experiences and ideas, and supporting one another, we can find value in diversity
- Knowledge is Power: We aim to educate. The "power" in knowledge lies in acquiring critical thinking skills, confidence in making informed decisions and the ability of advocating for what you believe in. Let’s learn how to yield this power together!
