Classic Novels: Middlemarch

Join us to discuss Middlemarch: A Study of Provincial Life, published in 1872. The book was written by Mary Ann Evans under the pen name George Eliot. Barnes & Noble calls it a "precisely detailed portrait of English provincial life in the 1830s." Amazon.com says the book "addresses the status of women, the nature of marriage, politics, religion, and education." Read more about it here.
