Join Us for a Peaceful Saturday Morning Nature Walk

Dear Friends,

You're warmly invited to join me and others for a refreshing and peaceful Saturday morning nature walk through the beautiful Riverwood Conservation Area. If you haven’t visited before, it’s a hidden gem right in the heart of the city—perfect for bird watching, connecting with nature, and enjoying some fresh air.

🌿 What to Expect:
We’ll begin with a guided breathing session (optional but highly recommended) to ground ourselves before setting out on a scenic, one-hour walk along mostly flat trails with a few gentle slopes. The riverside path is especially calming and picturesque.

This experience is designed to be relaxing, rejuvenating, and a chance to connect—both with nature and one another. Feel free to bring your dog along for some added joy!

📍 Meeting Point:
Tim Hortons – 1170 Burnhamthorpe Rd West, Mississauga, ON L5C 4E6

We'll gather outside the Tim Hortons at 9:00 AM. Please feel free to arrive a little earlier to grab a beverage (tea is ideal to complement the breathing session) or a light snack. This will also give us time to get to know each other before we head out.
We’ll depart for the walk around 9:20 AM.

Free parking is available in the area.

Comfortable walking shoes (suitable for trails with minor slopes)

Weather-appropriate, breathable clothing

A bottle of water

Binoculars are optional

We’ll take breaks along the way to rest, take photos, and enjoy the scenery.
