Join us for this fun and educational small group lighting workshop with Model Alyssa M , This is one of our most requested photography lighting workshops ever and we are glad to get to shoot it again in 2025 with the amazing Alyssa!
Workshop Details: This is an amazing opportunity to light and shoot a very tmodel in studio with 3 great outfit changes and some beautiful 1,2 and 3 light set ups with Elinchrom modifiers . We will be creating 3x lighting set ups and creating some great soft commercial fashion images using modifiers to soften and shape the light .

We are dedicated to lighting and sharing our photographic knowledge with you. Our medium sized group workshop with professional instructors is designed to cater to your interests. Throughout the workshop, we will discuss the specific lighting setups for each scenario, explaining the choice of modifiers and angles to effectively illuminate the subject and accessories.
**Instructor:**Phil Sutherland - Elinchrom Ambassador and Metis photographer Model: The exceptionally awesome Alyssa M. Her remarkable posing skills will contribute to creating stunning images during the workshop. She is also featured on our flyer for workshops
To ensure a high-quality experience for participants, we are limiting the workshop to a maximum of ten participants.
As an indigenous-led, not-for-profit arts group, we are dedicated to serving the artistic community and advocating for the photographic arts. At our core, we believe in sharing knowledge and the joy of photography with the community. We strive to make art accessible to everyone and work hard to bring arts programming to the community.
Workshop Details:
- Maximum Participants: 10
- Workshop Fee: CAD$135 plus hst and vendor fee
Items to Bring:
- Camera/Lenses of choice (DSLR, medium format, or mirrorless)
- Fully charged battery
- Freshly formatted memory card(s)
- General lenses
- Pen and paper (if you wish to take notes)
So that you know, tripods or camera supports are not required for this workshop.
Triggers: We provide wireless triggers for most mainstream camera types. Please feel free to email us to confirm compatibility with your camera.
Model Release: A West Toronto Photography Group model release form, will be provided to each participant for non-commercial use and training purposes. The model will sign these forms, and printed copies will be provided to each photographer.
Cancellation Policy: Refunds will be issued within 72 hours if we, as organizers, have to postpone or cancel the event. We understand that sometimes circumstances prevent attendance at a workshop. If you cannot attend, please get in touch with us as soon as possible, and we will help you resell your workshop spot to the group. We will reimburse you for the ticket price if we can resell the ticket. However, if we cannot resell the spot, you may transfer it to someone else to attend in your place, but unfortunately, no refund will be provided.
