Welcome to the Mississauga Social Group, one of the best and busiest social groups serving Mississauga and surrounding areas.
Joining the group is 10$ per year and payment can be made to mississaugasocialgroup@gmail.com using password msgevents.
Paid membership entitles you to VIP events and is due 1st month of calendar year. <br>
We organize activities like dining out in interesting restaurants, house parties, BBQ's and dinners, coffee get togethers, visits to cool pubs & clubs, movie, theatre and musical evenings, picnics, camping trips, day trips and out of town weekend getaways and anything else that promotes social mingling and allows people to get together, network, chit-chat and get to know one another. <br> <br> In addition to social events we also organize fun hiking, walking & other outdoor events that help promote good health & wellness. <br> <br> So no matter whether you're single, married, divorced, separated, temporarily in town, new in town, bored and looking for things to do or just like meeting people and making new friends -- this is an ideal group for you. <br> <br> Many of the regular members have developed some wonderful friendships and created some great memories. Comedy and Dancing at Club 54 with MSG! VIP! No Cover! Spring Fever Edition!

First Day of Spring! Vernal Equinox! End of Winter! Last Day to celebrate being a Pisces! First day to celebrate being an Aries! End of March Break with the kids! St Paddy's coming in on a crappy Tuesday this year, or maybe Cufffing Season wasn't as fun as it sounded :).
WHATEVER your reason, it's time to come out of hibernation and Party!

It's a good respectful mix of crowd that ranges from 20s to 60's+ even (photo is from an actual event to see what to expect :)), and a good mix of new and retro dance tunes thrown in too. They also have a Latin Dance Room and Comedy 10:15 to 11. There something for everyone so let's have a blast!
Dress Code is fashionable attire:
They do not permit hats, headgear, athletic wear such as jerseys, shorts, track pants, sleeveless shirts, tank tops, or baggy clothing. No bags or satchels. Management reserves all rights to refuse entry.You must identify yourself as part of the Mississauga Social Group reservation at the entrance. There you will be directed to the VIP lounge up behind the comedy stage.

🌳🌞 URBAN WALK: The Beltline Trail & Brickworks (11 Km). SUN, Mar 29
Castle Frank Subway Station, Bloor at Castle Frank, Toronto, ON, CALet's enjoy a leisurely walk along the Beltline Trail, from Castle Frank Station through the scenic paths of the Mount Pleasant Cemetery and historic Evergreen Brickworks. A unique opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and encounter some local wildlife without leaving the city.
Our hike follows an abandoned historic steam rail line and explores the wooded Don River Ravines. You will see evidence of the industrial heritage of the area and enjoy the park-like ambience of the Mount Pleasant Cemetery (dating from 1873). This cemetery features an arboretum, statues, fountains and botanical gardens and is the resting place for many famous Canadians.
We will also visit the popular Evergreen Brickworks located just east of the ravine -- a thriving environmentally based cultural centre The former Don Valley Pressed Brick Works was begun by the Taylor family in 1891. Although later sold and renamed, the factory continued to manufacture bricks and became one of Ontario's oldest and longest operating brickworks, finally closing its kilns in 1988.
We will take breaks along the way for beverages and/or washroom needs. Length: 11 Km.- EVENT CATEGORY: Urban Walk - SCENIC
- DIFFICULTY LEVEL: Beginner – All walking/hiking levels welcome!
- TOTAL HIKING TIME: 4-5 hours, depending on overall group pace.
- WHAT TO BRING: Water (at least 1 L), lunch, snacks, appropriate clothing and footwear, hat, camera, cellphone, cash for personal expenses and/or TTC ride.
- POST-EVENT: Refreshments at a restaurant or pub on Bloor St East OPTIONAL (around 5:30 PM).
- WEATHER POLICY: In the event of harsh weather, this walk will be cancelled. The hike leader will monitor the weather forecast and notify all registered members at least 24 hours in advance to confirm or cancel the event.
TIMELINE
Travel to Castle Frank Station by car or public transit and meet our group there NO LATER than 1:00 PM. The hike will start promptly at 1:15 PM.*** PLEASE, BE ON TIME ***
We will not wait for anyone after 1:15 PM. It is not okay to join the event or call the Organizer after the event starts at 1:15 PM.⭐️⭐️ Event Fee: $5/ person (only $4 if paid ONLINE)
