It's fall colour season on the Niagara Peninsula. Bring your cameras for this hike from Grimsby and a challenging climb up the escarpment on the Bruce Trail to Beamer Conservation Area and its hardwood forest paths and panoramic views. On a clear day, you can see Toronto.

Start time is 10 a.m.

from Grimsby Lions Community Centre — it’s 50 minutes from Square One, 30 minutes from Oakville Place. Take the Queen Elizabeth Way to Grimsby, exit 71 at Christie Street, head south toward the escarpment, past the Food Basics plaza turn right on Elm Street; look for the free-parking lot near the beige house.
