A cozy evening in beautiful downtown Missoula

Several members suggested this location. We have eaten there in the past, but it was quite some years ago! Double Front has an interesting history. It was built in 1909 with no alley or back door, hence the name Double Front. You may enter from either Alder St. or Railroad St. Chicken was first served in 1933, The business was bought by the current owners, the Herndon family, in 1961. So there is a long history of serving their signature chicken We will be hanging out in the downstairs bar area, not the main floor seating area. Come and enjoy some Missoula history and ruminate on the woes of the world with a great group of skeptics and free thinkers! With a full bar you should be able to find a libation to suit your tastes!
