Bitterroot River Float (Maclay Flats to Kona Bridge)

Join a bunch of jolly folks on an easy, beautiful 3ish hour float from Maclay Flats to Kona Bridge. This section of the Bitterroot River features mostly calm waters with a few mild rapids that are easily floatable with almost any inflatable.

The Kona Bridge parking area is tiny! We may need to carpool from the Walmart parking lot if there is no parking available. We will plan to meet at Kona just before 4, drop a few cars off, then carpool to Maclay.

I'll be floating very leisurely in a packraft! Tubes, kayaks and other rafts are welcome! Packrafts are available for rent from Bitterroot Backpacking.

Make sure you bring sun protection, appropriate clothing, drybag, snacks, water, and a bubbly bevy!
