Who should join?
Graduates from the MIT, MIT Fintech, MIT MediaLab, UNic Digital Currency or other similar institutions, professionals, founders, entrepreneurs and investors from the Fintech and Blockchain space.
We are graduates from the MIT Fintech class 0I/16. Graduates were motivated by the organizers of the MIT Fintech class to set up MIT Fintech meetups in order to connect and collaborate, and help new batches to access the expertise and network of previous classes.
Why?
This regular meetup will focus on Fintech and Blockchain Innovations. We will cover aspects of the MIT Fintech classes, present experiences and interesting capstone projects. We may have pitches from students, founders, guests from other MIT Fintech meetups and presentations of members, angels and investors as well as other parties with interesting contributions. Innovation is about content, and not about the form.
Sponsors are invited to propose space or cover drinks. Intention is to have an open platform to exchange ideas, network and learn. Between individuals and organizations, between enterprises and individuals.
Also feel free to suggest topics, dates and venues for our meetups. Let me know if you are interested in supporting the organization of our meetups.
