Introductions & Brainstorm FinTech Business Ideas (MIT Capstone Venture Plans)

I am making our first MeetUp pretty casual to let us get to know each other. So I have a "bar-rail" reservation for the group at the Cambridge Brewing Company at 1 Kendall Square.

For our first MeetUp, I will get together and introduce ourselves and discuss/brainstorm FinTech business ideas. Since many of the group members are students in the MIT FinTech class, this is a great opportunity to brainstorm concepts for our Capstone projects (Venture Plan Stream) which for many of us will be to create a business plan for a novel FinTech concept. Also, those ready to do their elevator pitch could practice it in front of the group.

Entrepreneurs who are non-MIT FinTech students can pitch FinTech deals/businesses of their own and help brainstorm/vet business concepts presented by the group.

Please note that the size of this group grew very rapidly, so I am looking for a good meeting venue that can support the numbers that we expecting. There are 70 members of the group, thusfar, but I am sure how that translates into MeetUp participants seeing this is my first time coordinating a MeetUp group. I have initially limited the first MeetUp to 35 participants. Please RSVP if you are coming so I can factor in the size of the meeting venue needed.

Please help out with us finding a meeting venue. So, if you have a conference room available or otherwise have an idea where I should host the first MeetUp, please let me know.
