Welcome to Mix and Mingle Walks! This walking group will offer over 50 different walking trailers in all parts of Toronto. We are a walking group that is more on the leisure side as we don't walk to slow or too fast. We are open to anyone that loves to walk, that wants to walk more and to get more exercise. This group is for those that want to meet other members as they are walking. I hope by the event of the walk, you have met a new friends or something more. We also respect people's wishes, we never reach out to any members that we have not met or have not asked to be reaches to.
This group is open to everyone and anyone on Meetup.
Toronto has many different trails ravines, City neighborhood, parks, walking paths and hiking trails. We will be one of the busiest and diverse walking group on Meetup. Toronto is one of the greenest cities in the world. We are a friendly and easy going group that believes everyone will be treated with respect. All events we be transit accessible.

Tommy Thompson Park: Tommy Thompson Park is a great place to experience nature and the outdoors. It is widely considered one of the best places for bird-watching in the city, with more than 300 recorded species. It’s also a prime destination for wildlife viewing and fishing. In addition to its unique natural features, the park offers picturesque views of the Toronto skyline and Lake Ontario as the sun is setting!

Meetup DetailsJoin us after as we walk over to Gale's Snack Bar which is blast from the past old school diner where you can get a meal under $10. This is a very inexpensive diner that has been around for since the 1960's and is one of the most hidden gems in Toronto. I have always wanted to go here and now here is my chance....join me and don't miss out. THIS PLACE ONLY TAKES CASH!!!!
Meetup Location: I will beside the park by the pavilion/bathrooms and I will be wearing my Moose Hat.
Meetup time: 11:00am.....I will only wait 5mins
PLEASE NOTE: This is a long walk it will take about 3hrs plus a break. If you are not able to walk at a good speeded or for a long time this walk is not for you. Also there are NO DOGS allowed in the park (not my rules)

What we will do: We start our walk and we will take some of the off roading paths, we will head to the light house, have a little break and walk back along some of the paths again. After we will head over to Wend'y/Tim Hortons for something to eat.

Ultimate Canadian Food Tour: If you are not going away for the Canada Day Long Weekend, why not join me as we walk downtown Toronto trying some of the best "Canadian" food in the city. You are welcome to just join us for the walk.

Please note: This will most likely be a 3 plus hour walk maybe longer because of ordering food and waiting for it. You should be able to keep up with the group but you are always welcome to jump off anytime you like.

Where are we going:
- Bà Nội - Is known for their Butter Tarts.
- Sicilian Sidewalk Cafe - Known for their Ice Cream....Ice cream is not Canadian but we are a of land of immigrants
- The Fourth Man in the Fire Pizzeria - They are known for two thing thier Hawaiian Pizza and Dounts. We will most likely have to wait for the pizza.....bring cash.
- Poutine Hub - The ultimate Canadian dish the Poutine
- Bunner's Bakeshop - Nanaimo Bars...This place is also vegan.
- Crumbs Gourmet Patties - Montreal has the poutine and Toronto has the beef patty. This is not Canadian more about Toronto and our history tied to it....I will tell you a story about it.
- Blue Claw Lobster Shack - Lobster Roll. Let's celebrate our West Coast Provinces
- Centre Street Deli - One of the best places to have a Montreal style smoked meat sandwich. We will also stop and eat here. There is not a lot of room.

Humber River and James Gardens: Join me for a walk along the humber river as we enjoy the ending of the long weekend. We will have a break at James Garden which is a under-rated garden in Toronto. This event will happen rian or shine!
