The true stars of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade? The giant balloons! Experience the magic up close as the balloons are brought to life during the annual inflation along Central Park West.
We’ll meet on the Upper West Side and head out together for the best views of this iconic NYC tradition. Along the way, your host will share fun facts about the parade’s history and the neighborhood. Afterward, we’ll warm up at a nearby tavern with food and drinks!
Event Details
Meeting Spot: In front of Dunkin’ (166 W 72nd St, New York, NY 10023)
Time: 1:00 PM sharp (please don’t be late!)
Experience: Walk to the balloon viewing area, enjoy the inflation process, learn some parade history, then regroup for food and drinks nearby.
Duration: About 2 hours

This is not a VIP access tour—you’ll be with the general public, and it can get crowded. But don’t worry—your guide will make the experience fun, smooth, and informative.
Expect large crowds, but also lots of excitement!

If you have tested positive for Covid and cannot attend, we will do our best to provide you with credits to select future events with a copy of your positive test results.
