Come and visit our next rehearsal

Our rehearsals will resume after the New Year. We meet every Wednesday from 7-9 at Bellevue Christian School in the choir room. After rehearsals, you're welcome to join us for our usual social hour at the Goose Pub a few miles away.

Visiting a rehearsal is a great way to see whether or not you think we would be a good fit for you. We are fortunate to have a fantastic director to help us become better singers. Ken Potter has had a long, successful career as a singer, director, and music arranger in the Barbershop Harmony Society. He has won multiple gold medals on the BHS international stage, singing with Masters of Harmony. He has also directed multiple choruses, leading several to district championships and success on the international stage.

MixCappella belongs to the Tacoma Vocal Standard Barbershop Harmony Society chapter. Although trained in the barbershop style of singing, we perform a variety of different genres, from traditional Christmas music to pop and jazz numbers. We are dedicated to musical excellence but also simply enjoy one another’s company.
