A moderate walk at a pace of ~2.6-3 miles an hour.

Beginning in Newport Pagnell, the trail crosses Bury Field, a historic common land used for grazing since at least the 13th century. It then winds through the residential neighbourhoods of Poets Estate and Blakelands, passes Tongwell Lake, and makes its way back to the starting point via Riverside Meadows and the River Ouzel.

The route consists of a mix of paved roads and pathways, along with rougher sections that require caution, especially in wet conditions. Wearing suitable footwear is recommended.

Please bring up to a litre of water.
