Watlington Hill circular ~6.9 miles (£2 fee)

Meet in the Watlington Hill national trust car park (directions below). There is free car parking for about 20 vehicles (do car share if you can). Note: the Fox and Hounds pub in Christmas Common (¼ mile away) also has parking.

Directions:
From Watlington, take the minor road up Watlington Hill; the car park is on the right hand side near the top of the hill (there is a brown sign).

This is an intermediate walk with some steep climbs. A beautiful, varied route taking in woodlands, chalk grasslands, and farmlands with lovely views over the countryside and wildlife to spot.

Along the way we will pass the famous steeple cut into the chalk of Watlington Hill, Greenfield and Christmas Common.
