Hi everyone,
I am currently a parent of a summer 2025 baby and I really want to start creating a space for parents/grandparents etc. to gather together and socialise in the Milton Keynes and West Northants areas.
This will be a non-judegemental group to cheer-lead and support all kinds of parenting. It will be a growing and developing group so do let me know what you are looking for or what you would like to see in this group.
The group will only run well if people are happy to be hosts (unfortunately I can't be everywhere all the time but I will do my best as we are newly starting out). It really isn't hard to be a host. You just need to commit to turning up to an event on time and be open and friendly to the attendees joining. Do let me know if there is a particular event you are interested in doing and I can help you set it up on the app.
Please RSVP to events as it helps the host know numbers and to look out for you (it helps if your profile picture is of your face). Remember to edit your RSVP if something comes up and you can no longer attend.
For now I will set this group as a group for adults attending with babies up to the age of 1. Things may change as the group develops.
I am intending to host events that you can join with your baby, as well as events that are adult only.
