Build your own AI Agent - A Workshop Event in partnership with MAIC!

FINAL NOTICE:

• Parking - Due to construction, MSOE lots are NOT available. You will be ticketed if you park in them. Ample paid street parking available nearby, becomes free at 6pm so pay for first hour. Large indoor ramp off Market street, two blocks WEST of venue.
• Enter ITC main entrance at 1020 N Broadway - Personnel will greet you and let you in beginning at 5pm and until shortly after 6pm. It's a locked building, if you arrive later and no one is there, call the number posted with DD-MKE on the door for admittance.
• Food: Pizza from Dominos! Vegetarian and limited Gluten Free available.
• Networking: Workshop will conclude by 8:30pm, feel free to stay later for networking until 9:30pm.

Data-Driven MKE is pleased to welcome the MSOE AI Club (MAIC) for an interactive evening of building AI agents from the ground up. In this workshop, you’ll move quickly through the process of designing, testing, and connecting domain-specific agents to real data using today’s leading AI frameworks. Rather than simply hearing about AI, you’ll work directly with the tools, experiment with ideas, and leave with a functioning prototype you can continue to refine.

Whether you’re curious about what AI agents can truly accomplish, looking to apply them to your own projects, or eager to learn in a collaborative environment, this session is designed for you. You’ll also have the opportunity to connect with other professionals, students, and enthusiasts who share your passion for practical, hands-on AI.

• Please bring a charged laptop and its charger. Instructions for installing Python and other necessary tools will be shared before the event with all registered attendees here.

• Doors will open at 5:00 pm, giving you time to network and connect with other attendees before dinner is served at 5:30 pm. The workshop will then begin at 6:00 pm.

(This is also being sent to everyone signed up as of Friday at about 11am) - Be sure to review the READ ME file, then follow the additional instructions in the sub-folder to setup your laptop before the workshop. If you have difficulties, AI Club members will be on hand to help you get setup during networking and pizza time.
