Python N00b Challenge

This month we take one python n00b, and turn them loose on a set of problems to be solved with python and have them report back on how they did! This months challenge is the classic puzzles of Python Challenge (http://www.pythonchallenge.com), and the lucky n00b is a developer off of the Corvisa perl team, Matt Finkel.
