These meetups are a place where non-techies and data nerds can come together to share how technology and data are improving life in Milwaukee. This is a place to network with others and learn more about what is going in in Milwaukee.

THE FORMAT

• 6-6:30pm Real-time Social Networking

• 6:30-7:15p Idea Showcase (3-5 minute presentations)

• 7:15-8p Open Discussion and Networking

Are you publishing open data? Building a business or idea from data found on the Internet? Using data to solve social problems? Have a cool idea for how to use data? Let us know! We want you to speak at our events!

Come share your project or idea with fellow data scientists and entrepreneurs!

The format is fairly casual. There are no prerequisites to attend. We try to pick places with WiFi. Since we don't have food sponsors (yet) this is a BYO event for food, but we try to supply water and beer in case people are just thirsty!
