Effulgence Ritual SLO

Details
For those wondering why ritual? I lead you to a quote from Jungian analyst Robert Johnson who, in his book Inner Work, says:
"We have begun to rediscover ritual as a natural human tool for connecting to our inner selves. Rituals provide a way of taking principles from the unconscious and impressing them vividly on the conscious mind and is one of the most meaningful channels for our awe. We need to express our awe and elation and gratitude — and sometimes, our terror. This is why modern people who are deprived of meaningful ritual feel a chronic sense of emptiness. A highly conscious ritual sends a powerful message back to the unconscious, causing changes to take place at the deep levels where our attitudes and values originate."The word "effulgence" is defined as "radiant splendor or brilliance; a state of shining brightly and intensely and can be used to describe a person's display of beauty or goodness." Michael Meade writes about how each person has in them an inner genius that needs the safety and blessing of another person to fully blossom into the world. It's where the word genie comes from and the challenge is that when we bottle up this part of ourselves, it's energy — when it's starts to come out -- can come exploding forth and feel out of control. Thus, it's common in this culture to keep the cork on and keep it bottled up.
In this ritual we will attempt to create a safe enough space where that cork can be popped off so your radiant brilliance genius can shine through intensely and fully.
If you decide to attend our "work" will be to wrestle with the journey of how we came to bottle up this part of ourselves. Many of us have difficulty accessing this glowing part as obstacles stand in the way such as entangled relationships (past or present), bodily ailments, trauma, heavy burdens or regrets, depression, anxiety and any number of other road blocks.
In this ritual we aim to give each man the support and safety he needs to face whatever obstacles may be blocking this effulgence so that it can flow through and be felt on a deep level and witnessed by his fellow brothers. In this ritual, each man will get both the opportunity to sink into this space as well as offer support to other men.
Are you ready to embrace your deep beauty and see it in other men?
This ritual will take place on July 31 at Swallow Creek Ranch Barn starting at 6pm and end by 9pm. It will be led by Reuel Czach, Raym Ensing, Michael Durighello, Paul Trent, Craig Stone and Paul Grafton.
