Technically speaking Moving object detection is a technique used in computer vision and image processing. Multiple consecutive frames from a video are compared by various methods to determine if any moving object is detected.

Moving objects detection has a wide range of applications like video surveillance, activity recognition, road condition monitoring, airport safety, monitoring of protection along marine border, etc.

  • Extract Background in Video Input
  • Capturing the Video in 'cap' and extract 30 random frames and store the selected frames in an array
  • Calculating median and average frames, Processing a Frame
  • Studying a single frame separately (first frame)
  • Converting the Median and sample image to grayscale

Ali kako sve ne bi ostalo samo na teoriji (ma kako zanimljivoj) mi smo Vam pripremili iznenađenje večeri: neki od polaznika našeg upravo završenog tečaja programiranja aplikacija za (Detekcija objekata korištenjem YOLOv8 algoritma) će demonstrirati aplikacije koje su izradili za vrijeme tečaja:
Prepoznavanje zauzetosti parking mjesta, Prepoznavanje zauzetosti vezova u marini, brojanje automobila u kružnom toku, Prepoznavanje i brojanje prolaznika na splitskoj rivi,... a sve to koristeći besplatne web kamere dostupne na internetu !

Polaznici na početku tečaja nisu ništa znali o ovoj tehnologiji, a nakon 4 tjedna znaju samostalno izraditi aplikacije koje mogu analizirati slike sa live kamera i upotrijebiti to u nekom od svojih budućih projekata.

Imat ćete priliku umrežiti se s istomišljenicima, razmijeniti ideje i iskustva te steći uvide od stručnjaka iz industrije.
U ugodnoj atmosferi PICS-a na FESB-u u večernjim satima moći ćete se družiti sa mnoštvom poznatih lica, ali i uvijek upoznati neko novo lice, a svakako čuti nešto novo u tehnološkom smislu.
