2nd #MLDD Expedition - Alice, is that you?

Hi Everyone,

We have an early Christmas gift for you: Cognitec will host the second #MLDD expedition on December, 11th at their office. Fabian Mieting and Daniel Vorberg will present their work on face recognition, highlighting the main differences and issues which set face recognition apart from standard classification. They will even do a live demo of their product!

If you haven't had the chance to join the last Meetup: In parallel to the regular #MLDD events we want to try an additional format, called "expedition" where we visit a local company to see first-hand how they work with machine learning and data science.

As always we will conclude the evening with snacks and drinks (kindly sponsored by Cognitec), engaging discussions and plenty of opportunities for networking.

We are more than excited about this new breed of #MLDD events and hope you'll like it, too. The next slots are already filling with more local companies but if you want to present at a regular #MLDD or invite the community to your location as an expedition event, don't hesitate to contact us.
