A Product Framework for Applied Data Science

Building ML-powered products is complex, and it comes with its own specificities. That's what Ricardo de Aldama realized while building the products of Miuros, the tech company he co-founded, recently acquired by Dixa and focused on improving customer service. To help him solve these challenges, he brought Hadrien Chastant on board, a product and design leader. Together they formalized a product methodology based on some fundamental principles of ML systems. Their framework is based on an iterative approach to reduce the uncertainty in shipping features. During the evening, they will present the history and rationale of the framework and show us how they apply it in their work.

๐ About the speakers
Ricardo de Aldama is Director of Engineering, AI at Dixa. He has a background in pure mathematics (PhD in mathematical logic) and over a decade of experience in the AI domain; first as a researcher and then as an entrepreneur. He co-founded Miuros, a data-first company, which was acquired last year by Dixa.
Hadrien Chastant is a product and design leader motivated by complex challenges. He earned his product stripes in multiple contexts, from C2C to B2B, large to small organizations, consulting to in-house, HR tech to customer service.
