SECOND CHANCE! Snow Tubing and Downhill Kayaking at Rockburn Park
Details
OK, a few of you who missed tonight's adventure had the valid excuse of your cars being encased in a block of ice. But I'm giving you another 46 hours to remedy that and meet us to go tubing again on Wednesday evening. Four of us just got back from an outrageous and exhausting time. You'll see above that Greg managed to find the correct lane to break the 100 meter mark.
I have four skirted snow tubes to share, but please bring any sleds, saucers, lunch trays, couch cushions wrapped in a contractor's trash bag, etc. I'll also be bringing my whitewater kayak for anyone wants to be extra reckless. I mean... wants to righteously shred the gnar.
We will meet at the north parking lot of Rockburn Branch Elementary School in Elkridge. There is a 30' hill with a modest slope between the basketball court and soccer field. Combined with the icy conditions, that is plenty to get you cruising by the time you hit the bottom.
We might grab a bite to eat afterwards.
