I bet many of you have driven right by this delightful little park on your way to Triadelphia Reservoir or Black Hills Park without even taking notice.

We'll start from the parking lot off Zion Road and make a counterclockwise zig-zag throughout the park, trying to hit most of the trails. Along the way we'll pass a pretty neat pile of boulders and stroll along the Hawlings River. The terrain is gently rolling, except for a few moderate hills as we descend to and ascend from the river.

Total distance should be around four miles and we should be wrapped up around 1:00pm. Please arrive with time to get laced up and start promptly at 11:00am. We don't wait for latecomers. Since parking is also limited here, I will be extra ruthless in kicking out no-shows.

Afterwards, we can drive 800' to Elder Pine Brewing Company. Their food truck is pretty decent and there is outside seating.
