Hike PVSP Soapstone Trail (Mod. 3mi) and Ellicott City Springfest Concert

Summer weather has arrived, so the hikes will be getting less arduous. This route along Soapstone is one of the easiest in the park, thought there is still 300' elevation change. Most of the uphills are short or gradual, with the downhills requiring a bit more patience. Total distance is 3 miles and we should be back at our cars by around noon.
Afterwards, I'll be heading to the Ellicott City Springfest where fifteen genre and artist-specific cover bands are playing around downtown. I have particular interest in the Black Sabbath, Van Halen, and Talking Heads bands, but we'll see if they have enough ice cream for me to make it all afternoon.
Parking is likely to be tight for Spring Fest. I recommend the Courthouse lot at the top of town.
