with: Ben Nicholas
โTrue influence isnโt built on quick exchanges or short-term networkingโitโs built on authentic, lasting relationships. In this session,
Ben Nicholas will share the positive impact of becoming a life-long connector: how shifting from โcollecting contactsโ to cultivating genuine connections transforms careers, strengthens communities, and opens doors to purpose-driven leadership. Attendees will leave with practical ways to lead with generosity, build meaningful networks, and invest in relationships that last a lifetime.
โ
Ben Nicholas is the Founder of Servant Leaders in Training and serves as a Strategic Growth Leader at Bethany in Bloomington, MN. With a career spanning small business, corporate leadership, technology consulting, and the nonprofit sector, Ben has one consistent mission: to develop and equip people to thrive in living out their calling.
โ
At Bethany, he leads donor engagement and growth initiatives, managing over 300 relationships, chairing Bethanyโs largest fundraising event, and co-founding the Excellence in Leadership event, which introduces 70+ new business leaders to Bethanyโs mission each quarter. Through these efforts, he is advancing Bethanyโs mission of equipping and sending intercultural disciple makers to bring kingdom transformation to the nations and equipping leaders to create lasting impact.
โ
As the founder of Servant Leaders in Training, Ben equips men to lead with purpose through mentorship, service, coaching, and intentional growth. His initiatives have mobilized over 400 volunteers to serve nonprofits each year and created a thriving peer community of leaders who align their mission, time, and resources with what truly matters.
โ
Known as a connector, Ben helps leadersโfrom recent graduates to seasoned executivesโbuild authentic networks and overcome limiting mindsets so they can live generously and lead with a servantโs heart. Grounded in faith, wisdom, and a commitment to lifelong learning, Benโs leadership philosophy is simple yet powerful: true leadership is about serving first and leading second.
