MNFuturists Presentation/Discussion

Details
From 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM we discuss RANDOM BITS where anybody can bring information to the group that might be useful or important when considering the future. Then the presentation starts at 10 AM and lasts until noon. There is usually some time for discussion.
Energy Futures
This is a continuation of a series that I started in April, when I compared various sources of electrical power and included details about coal and large nuclear fission reactors. In this presentation there will be more detail about nuclear power, including small modular reactors (SMRs), Thorium reactors, and fusion reactors. These all show promise as future power sources but have some drawbacks and may be decades away from large scale implementation.
