From 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM we discuss RANDOM BITS where anybody can bring information to the group that might be useful or important when considering the future. This week we will have a short annual meeting, after which the presentation will last until about noon. There probably will be some time for discussion.
The Future of War - Russia, Ukraine, & Europe
Ukraine is slowly destroying Russia’s economy & the Russian people are increasingly angry at Putin for letting that happen. He knows that if this trend continues he will be deposed & killed. To still win & save himself, Putin is planning a new large draft, increasing a massive campaign to terror bomb Ukraine into submission, & is committing acts of war on NATO countries to scare them into ending their help to Ukraine. These include drone incursions, sabotage of NATO airports & military facilities, & trying to assassinate key people, such as the CEO of Rheinmetall AG, Germany’s biggest military production company. NATO is badly prepared to wage modern drone-dominated warfare.
