Hike the Overlook and Bluff trail at Minnesota Valley Wildlife Refuge

Park: Old Cedar Bridge, MinnesotaNational Wildlife Refuge

Meeting location: Meet at the shelter by the Old Cedar Bridge, Old Cedar Ave South. Cedar Ave merges to Old Cedar Ave South 0.6 miles from Cedar Ave South. You can also exit on the Old Shakopee Road , Cedar Ave to Old Cedar Ave and going South to the parking lot for Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge

Hike the hidden gem of nature going to the Overlook Boardwalk for Meadown Lake Marsh and a 3 mile out and back on the Bluff Trail. See and hear many birds like eagles, red winged black birds, ducks, trumpeter swans and many others. The Bluff trail has some hills and has some rougher spots. Hiking boots recommended. Bring a water bottle and bug repellent.
I will have gluten free brownies, rice Krispie bars and sparkling water for an after hike snack.
Also we will be sharing an action for the environment to call Patty Acomb to thank her for being an environmental champion in the state legislature.
