Meet and Ski with Ski Hawks - Afton Alps

Details
Due to the frigid high of -2 and the restricted chalet access this even will be rescheduled for next Sunday, Feb. 14th.
The Ski Hawks will be at Afton on Sunday February 7 for a Meet & Ski. Afton is committed to safety during this time and has made changes to accommodate this. Come at any time but lifts open at 9:30. If you're new to the club, it's easier to find people to ski with if you get there early. Meet at The Highland's Chalet at 10:00, masked and socially distanced. Because of limited access to indoor facilities, guests will not be able to leave property in lodges. You will need to keep your gear in your car, so park in the The Highlands (upper) lot. The Highlands is the first chalet and parking area you will see on your right after entering the resort and taking your first left at the State Park entrance. Here you can park, pick-up your ticket, grab lunch or a drink and hit the slopes. The only thing you can't do is get rental equipment.
You are able to bring your own food into the lodge, if capacity allows, but everyone should be considerate of time and only use the table when actively dining. Grab and go food is available and includes: Salads, sandwiches, and burgers. There are also restaurants where you can book a mealtime, but you will need to do this on your own (see details on the Afton website link below).
Unfortunately we were not able to work a lift ticket discount. However, if you purchased any Epic Pass for either our Whistler or Beaver Creek trips you can use the pass at Afton as well. This includes the Epic day pass.
Covid 19 has also changed how Afton Alps will operate this season. Most importantly, lift tickets and rentals must be purchased on line, in advance. On-line tickets are limited and tickets will not be available for purchase on site. Refunds will be available if plans change.
