Bike the Dakota Rail Trail With the SKIHAWKS!

Meet at the parking area for the trail in Wayzata. This is just beyond the 6Smith parking lot (294 Grove Lane E, use this address to get you to the general area). Look for Yellow SkiHawk hats, etc. Kickstands up at 10:15 am and bike to our turnaround point, which is the The Winery at Sovereign Estate in Waconia (9950 N Shore Rd.) The winery has a beautiful patio with various wines by the glass to choose from, as well as cheeseboards and flatbreads from their bistro menu.

While this is a 30 mile round trip ride, don't let the distance intimidate you! The Dakota Rail Trail is pretty flat as we meander through the towns of Wayzata, Orono, Minnetonka Beach, Spring Park and St. Bonifacius, with plenty of opportunity to take a few water breaks along the way. After the ride we can check out the patio at 6Smith for some refreshments.
