Topic: A case study - Data Movements using Azure Data Factory
Abstract:
In this session, I will provide a basic introduction of Azure Data Factory, a scalable cloud-based data integration service. I will show a case study to move data from Azure Blob Storage to Azure SQL Server.I will show you how you can use SINK as XML in Azure Data Factory using Azure SQL Server and XML which is not a supportive type in ADF as Sink. Also will show How to send an email using ADF and Logic Apps. This demo will also use the following technologies:

  • Azure Key Vault
  • Azure Data SQL Server
  • Azure Blob Storage
  • Azure Data Factory and its Data Flows.
  • Azure Logic Apps
  • Azure SQL Server

The main goal of this session is to provide basic knowledge of ADF using case study so attendee will leave with ADF knowledge and how to apply this in different scenarios.

Alpa is an Azure Consultant with a passion for data and technology at Cluster Reply UK. She is Microsoft Certified Trainer and certified in Azure Data engineer and Azure Data Science. She is working on Azure services such as Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Key Vault , Azure , Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage and Azure Data Lake.
