Ike Ellis leads the Data & AI Practice at Crafting Bytes. He has designed and implemented data solutions for many well-known organizations. He favors implentations of Databricks and Power BI.

He was a Microsoft Data Platform MVP from 2011 - 2023. He co-authored the book "Developing Azure Solutions," now in its second edition. He is a popular speaker at SQLBits, PASS Summit, and SQL in the City. He speaks at user groups, code camps, and SQLSaturdays.

He has written courses on SQL Server for developers, Power BI, CosmosDB, Databricks, and Azure SQL Database.
He runs the San Diego Power BI and Fabric user group and the San Diego Data Engineering meetup. He recently contributed to the latest edition of the book "Changemaking", by Richard Bevan
