Build a Terrarium! (and plant swap)

Sign up for our very first terrarium building day!

If you want to build a terrarium, you are welcome to bring everything you need, a container, drainage, soil, etc, and we'll help you put it together. Or, we will have supplies available, just cover the cost and bring a container that can be closed with a lid, a piece of plastic/glass, or cling wrap:

$2 for a small terrarium's supplies: quart of soil, pint of leca, soil barrier cloth
$4 for a medium terrarium's supplies: 2 quarts of soil, 1 quart of leca, soil barrier cloth
$8 for a large terrarium's supplies: 1 gallon of soil, 2 quarts of leca, soil barrier cloth

Do you have nothing at all? We will have recycled plastic containers that can be made into a simple terrarium!

We'll have plant cuttings to go in your brand new terrarium but feel free to bring your own plants as well.

You are also welcome to come and just swap plants or hangout and make some new plant friends!
