[Online] Learn how neural networks work by building one

This is the event page for the weekly online lecture series on artificial intelligence, hosted by Moad Computer.

On October 8th the discussion will be around how neural networks work, through a hands-on approach of building one.

This event will comprise of approximately 45 minutes of didactic lecture style content, 45 minutes of hands-on lab and 30 minutes of discussion.

What will be covered:

• Developing mathematical intuition around neural networks
• Building neural networks from scratch with minimal dependencies
• Understand the process of training, loss functions and testing
• Visualization tools to explain the solution space of neural networks
• Scaling neural networks to solve bigger and more complex problems

This series is aimed at technical skill development in healthcare artificial intelligence.

This event is open to the public. Some programming skills in Python especially knowledge in deep learning frameworks such as Tensorflow or PyTorch is recommended for getting the best out of this lecture series.

The participants of this event are also highly recommended to setup a Kaggle account.
