Quality for Mobile Applications

This time we want to put the spotlight on quality for mobile applications.

Smartphone apps come with their own characteristics and challenges that can make it difficult to ensure that the quality is as desired.

Apps have to run on different OS versions, diverse hardware specifications, multiple UI- and locale settings and have to communicate with backends and third party services.

We will take a look at the characteristics of native mobile apps from UI to business logic and API calls to aim for a full scope automated testing strategy.
