We're back! Apologies for missing the September meetup. Our planned speaker couldn't make it and we didn't have time to find a replacement.
So we're really looking forward to seeing you all at November's Mobile North East. This time we have Oli Wood joining us to talk about Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Oli Wood
Oli has always worked in the IT industry, which is a good job because he's basically useless at everything else. For the last ten years he's tended to be involved with infrastructure and deployments in business from two crew startups to multimillion pound enterprise systems, mostly on AWS. He currently works for Solarwinds MSP.
Talk synopsis
An overview of the common systems and where to start. There is so much to AWS that knowing where to start is daunting. We'll whizz through a range, covering 'getting started', 'pros' and 'cons'.
Start - 6:00 PM
6.00PM - 6.30PM: Arrival and drinks
6.30PM - 7.00PM: AWS with Oli Wood
7.00PM - 8.00PM: Networking, pizza and drinks
