What we’re about
We're a bunch of Mobile Apps enthusiasts — that includes Developers, Designers, Product Owners, Startupers, and anyone interested in the topic.
We like to exchange informally on the latest news, UX/UI trends, and tech best practices of iOS and Android.
We get together each month for a beer in Lausanne, Switzerland.
We usually all speak English, so you are welcome too if you do not speak French.
PS: if you'd like to hold a more formal speech, get in touch with the group admin and we'll surely arrange something together!

See all- Making Your Apps Accessible: Where to Start? (MRB #68)Swissquote Bank SA , Lausanne
Talk description
Practical tips to kickstart accessibility in your mobile projectsAccessibility is a broad and essential topic in mobile development. But when you decide to tackle it, one question inevitably comes up: where do you start? Should you focus on color contrast first? Implement VoiceOver or VoiceControl? Handle different screen orientations?
With the recent enforcement of the European Accessibility Act (EAA), accessibility has become a legal requirement for some companies, while others are taking a proactive approach motivated by inclusivity.
In this talk, I’ll share my personal experience adapting a mobile app to meet accessibility standards. The goal is to provide concrete technical and organizational insights to help you kickstart or structure accessibility efforts in your own projects, without getting lost in the complexity.
