Aashish grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He studied psychology at Northwestern University. His love of music and sports shaped his creative and competitive drive toward entrepreneurship.

Today, Aashish is the Founder and CEO of ParkWhiz, the nation’s leading on-demand parking app and platform provider. His role as industry catalyst earned him a spot on Crain's Chicago 40 under 40, Crain’s Tech 25 and awards from Nokia and American Express. To date, ParkWhiz has raised over $35 million in funding.

As an expert on startups and consumer marketplaces, Aashish speaks frequently at industry conferences, and is published regularly in industry trade journals and tech media. Aashish cherishes time with his wife and 2 daughters and obsesses shaping the culture and values of his family as much as his organization.

Dan Cummings is the Vice President of Product for ParkWhiz – leading the product evolution for both web and mobile. Prior to PW he helped revolutionize the mortgage process at Guaranteed Rate generating over 2.5 billion dollars of originated loans via online channels in under 2 years. He also established the Chicago office of GPShopper, building a consultancy enabling retailers with native & responsive mobile commerce applications. He’s had additional stops in his career at Sears, Shoplocal, and AOL.

Mark Stratman, VP of Engineering for nearly 4 years, has led the scaling of the ParkWhiz engineering team and the mobile/web application we’re building. A polygot technologist and hands-on leader, he covers off on all aspects of engineering – web, mobile, data, and systems. He previously served in senior roles at Goldstar Learning and The University of Illinois at Chicago after beginning his career with EMC Capital Management.
