Lazar Petrov
Senior Software Security Engineer
https://www.linkedin.com/in/lazar-petrov-33a21685/

Bio:
For me Security is a culture, a lifestyle choice, and a continuous approach to understanding and reacting to the world around us. I see security as a vector that must be persistently followed rather than a point to be reached. I’m a passionate security professional with several years of experience in big corporations like IBM and KPMG. It was a year and a half ago when I joined Mobiquity as a security engineer and discovered what I really like - to combine forces with developers in order to make software secure by design. So far Mobiquity is the company with the most friendly atmosphere I’ve ever experienced.

Topic summary:
Today I am going to talk about and demonstrate how a Software/DevOps engineer can use very simple and open source penetration testing tools to verify their work. More particularly I am going to show how we can easily verify if TLS configuration is secure and only strong ciphers are supported. Furthermore I am going to show how to easily discover if private web directories are left public and also if our database is vulnerable to injection attacks.

Igor Afanasov:
Senior Front End Web Developer at Mobiquity Inc.
https://www.linkedin.com/in/iafanasov/

Bio:
I joined Microsoft right after university, having more than 1 year experience at the time. Now I have over 10 years experience in different roles: consulting, full-stack, backend, frontend engineer, RnD department manager, mentor, freelancer, digital nomad. I am also very passionate about traveling.

Topic summary
In almost all projects I’ve worked on, accessibility had a low priority. A lot of clients are not ready to pay for accessibility. This talk will employ you - a software engineer - with the knowledge and tools to make the web more accessible yourself without additional spending from a client.
