Clearwater Audubon Society Meeting

The local chapter of the National Audubon Society conducts field trips to Florida’s natural areas, supports local environmental education efforts and sponsors environmental educators to Audubon training centers. Everyone is welcome. clearwateraudubonsociety.org

About this event: The 2022 breeding season was a big success for the Black Skimmers nesting on our Pinellas County municipal beaches as well as Wilson's Plovers nesting at Ft. De Soto and Outback Key. In addition to our normal methods of data collection, this season we were aided by the use of game-cameras placed in the habitat with the birds - come and see what we learned about these species!
