SUNCOAST HERPETOLOGICAL SOCIETY MEETING

The Suncoast Herpetological Society is a non-profit, educational, and recreational club for people interested in reptiles and amphibians with an emphasis on responsible husbandry & captive breeding. The Suncoast Herpetological Society provides educational talks to Pinellas County residents as well as the surrounding counties and communities. Each month a speaker discusses a herpetological topic at the meeting, and he or she goes into the community giving talks at libraries, schools and environmental education centers. www.kingsnake.com/suncoastherpsociety

Your clubs first meeting of 2026 is January 24 @ 6pm. Your guest speaker is Savannah Ray. Savannah is a fun, inspirational and educational speaker who always brings a couple interesting reptiles with her.
Florida native, Savannah Ray, with a decade of education experience in herpetology , founder of Safari Savvy Reptiles and co-founder of the Reptile Youth Alliance (RYA), an organization focused on engaging and educating young people about reptile and amphibian conservation through hands-on experiences, fostering the next generation of herpetologists and conservationists, emphasizing practical fieldwork and community involvement. Her work bridges traditional conservation with youth empowerment.
Come on out and support your club and guest speaker next Saturday and join your fellow members for the evening. If you, your children or grandchildren have a new reptile or want to share one of your originals, great, bring them with you and we will give you time at the beginning of the meeting to share them with us. Just let Doreen or Dennis know when you arrive.
Members have any reptile related items or reptiles for sale, tell us about them too! Please keep in mind, the City of Clearwater does not allow the sale of live animals on the property. You can sell dry good though.
If its cold out Lloyd will have the Garden Lodge comfy for us and the safety of any reptiles.
