🍪 MGR 12th Annual Cookie Swap Party & Book Club Meeting Joy Club Club - Amy Tan
Details
It's the most wonderful (and delicious) time of the year, Mocha Girls!
Dust off those cookie recipes, grab your favorite holiday treats, and get ready for one of our most beloved Mocha Girls Read traditions!
We're celebrating our 12TH ANNUAL COOKIE SWAP PARTY!
For many of our Mocha Girls, this is our annual family reunion. We get to reconnect with longtime members, welcome new faces, and celebrate another wonderful year of books and sisterhood.
### 📚 FIRST, LET'S TALK BOOKS!
Our November Monthly Book Selection is The Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan!
This novel follows four Chinese immigrant mothers and their American-born daughters as they navigate family expectations, cultural identity, sacrifice, love, and the complicated relationships between generations.
### 🍪 THEN, LET THE COOKIE SWAPPING BEGIN!
Calling all bakers, cookie lovers, and professional taste testers!
Whether your specialty is Grandma's famous chocolate chip cookies, homemade snickerdoodles, holiday sugar cookies, or something delicious from your favorite bakery, we want to see what you're bringing!
Here's how to join the sweet fun:
🍪 Bring a batch of your favorite cookies to share and swap.
🍪 Homemade or store-bought, we love them all!
Remember, you don't have to finish the book (or even start it) or bring cookies to join us!
