Image Data Processing - Precision Rater Data for Scanning Tunneling Microscopes
Details
In Person Location: Rockville Library, second floor meeting room (Collaboration Room 2).
Slightly later start time this event, 6:30PM Eastern.
We are data processing precision imagery of scanning, tunneling microscopes prototypes that we built. We suspect we are at 8nm resolution and we hope to increase that further. Join us as we do Fourier frequency analysis, and other techniques to clarify existing datta,.
See our starting project documentation here:

To get a better idea of what we are doing, see our reference project here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7N3OqTEq08g
All starting CAD, code, and reference files are being generated if they don’t exist already. Let’s be the first Maker community to document the build process and share it with learners around the world. We are building this for less than $1K in materials costs, and prepping learning kits others try out.
We are also open to university, lab, or community partnerships so feel to reach out if you want to be part of this project.
Together, we can do incredible things.
