Conditioning hike. 3 pm departure. Steep, Towers Trail. 4 mi or per group

Details
For some this is a stroll. For me it's a conditioning hike, aerobic and cardiac. It gets easier week to week. (That's my story, and ...)
We stop infrequently for a breather.
** TIMING
We'll start the hike at 3 p.m. unless we're all there earlier.
** HIKE
3.5 mile out and back but we usually add about half a mile.
There's an 825' ascent in one mile. Steep.
Swan Johnson Trail (0.5 mile, flat) to Towers Trail (1.25 miles, steep) and back.
Infrequent stops to take a breather.
*** FEE AREA
Yes.
Larimer County park pass works.

** GETTING TO TRAILHEAD
Soderberg Trailhead
Address: 3909 Shoreline Dr · Fort Collins, CO
See the map link or GPS to the address immediately above.
** PARKING
Parking is somewhat scarce when the park is busy. Carpooling always a good idea depending on day of week, time of day.
** BRING
Weather in Colorado can change rapidly. Plan to dress for the current weather, but bring something to add on just in case.
Water. Yes, bring some.
** WATER
While there is potable water at the trailhead, I'm not sure it is still turned on. Best to bring your own.
** RESTROOM
"Rustic" restroom at trailhead.
** DOGS
Leashed dogs are allowed, but please, can they be friendly and good with other dogs?
** HOST
My name is Kim. I'm male, 6'1", medium length brown hair (some of it grey) and I look like Brad Pitt (totally kidding). The profile photo is from November 2021.
I'm often in a bright orange vest and trying to look like The Great Pumpkin.
