Moderate+, 4 mile, 300 PM, South Ridge Trail, out/back

Details
I do this frequently, almost every Monday, just to stay active.
A conditioning hike, aerobic and cardiac.
Rocky in places, I use poles as do several others.
Infrequent stops for breathers.

.
** HIKE:
4 mile out and back.
975' elevation gain.
South Ridge Trail, to intersection of South Ridge Trail and Horsetooth Rock Trail, and then back down South Ridge Trail to trailhead.
The first two miles are steadily and sometimes sharply uphill. The other two (returning) are not.
This is almost all road, so wide; easy conversation side by side.
*** FEE AREA
Yes.
Larimer County park pass works.
