Change of pace ... let's do the Horsetooth Falls loop. Shorter and not as much elevation:

Parking lot to Horsetooth Falls, then north on Spring Creek Trail to Soderberg Trail to Horsetooth Rock trail to South Ridge Trail and down to the parking lot.

Parking is somewhat scarce when the park is busy. If you can carpool all the better.

Weather in Colorado can change rapidly. Plan to dress for the current weather, but bring something to add on just in case.

While there is potable water at the trailhead, I'm not sure it is still turned on. Best to bring your own.

Leashed dogs are allowed, but please, can they be friendly and good with other dogs?
