Big Tesuque to Borrego

Join us for this 4 mile, moderately easy, end to end hike in the back country of the Sangre de Cristo mountains. The hike starts at the Big Tesuque campground and goes down the Big Tesuque trail until it intersects the Winsor trail. We will then go down the Winsor trail until we reach the Big Tesuque river, where we will stop for lunch before starting the four hundred foot climb up to or cars at the Borrego trail head.
We will leave cars at both the Borrego and Big Tesuque trail heads. Wear good hiking boots. Bring poles, hat, sunscreen, Rain coat, plenty of water and lunch or snacks. Dogs on leash are welcome.
